Legend has it that ringing bells on Christmas day brings good tidings and good fortune! The festive chimes are thought to brighten and transform the hearts of mankind at this most magical time of the year. The tolling of any bell on Christmas Eve is a symbol of hope and peace.

It is written that the bells of an old church in England, which no longer stands, are still heard every Christmas Eve at midnight. The peal of the bells heralds the coming of Christmas Day! Also, if you believe the story told in "It's a Wonderful Life", every time a bell rings an Angel is getting his wings! Bells make a happy sound and are enjoyed in "ringing out the old and ringing in the new."
