Just a piece of canvas
and a stencil, cut with care,
an image of a Santa Claus,
his legacy we share.

The colors of the paint applied
in red and green and blue -
then put aside and left to dry
then sewn and stuffed and glued.

He's just a little symbol,
of this special Christmas season,
reminding us that giving
is much better than receiving!
